Bringing Awareness to Farmville, Va.

We are really starting to get our name and purpose out there and excited to share this with you! On 2/19/24, the board members spent the day in Farmville talking to 23 local businesses about our organization and our mission and how their sponsorship, partnership, and donations will help to:

- Enhance mental health awareness,

- Promote individual empowerment, and

- Increase access to treatment and services for persons living with a mental illness.

We gained a lot of support and many shared personal stories. Lots of excitement and gratitude for what we are doing! We also shared our flyers for the Farmville awareness walk on March 23rd and our flyers are now posted in shops and. Many want to joinus for the walk too! Here are just a few of the highlights from our trip!

- Fishin’ Pig was our first stop! They are offering catering for events!

- WVH 92.9 Radio Station- Met Richard LeSueur and he will be advertising our walk on air and invited us to do a radio interview! Stay tuned for more details on that!

- Longwood Health Center- Interested in our walk and happily displayed our flyers!

- Thrive Counseling and Wellness Center- Interested in partnering with us to create counseling awareness!
